Happy Birthday!

Two of our godsons celebrate their birthday... the cakes are not as colorful as in the USA but they are as tasty!

Jules was home for the weekend...

Jules is the mascot of Thomas' class. Each weekend he spends his time in one of the family.
Thomas was really proud to have him at home!

Jules was happy to meet Emilie...and so was she!

Thomas explained him that he lived for a while in Batlimore in the USA and he taught him some English!!
Of course we played some board games all together!

And we went to the Africa Museum in Brussels.

Family weekend at the Belgian beach

We've spent a weekend all together to celebrate the Birthday of my father...

In Belgium, beach doesn't mean warm and sunny weather... but there are lots of fun things to do.
For example we love to build sand castles and then wait until the tide comes and destroys them...
There is a long seawall, which is great for riding bicycles or for walking... it's also possible to rent these funny little cars that the kids love.

Grootoudersfeest... A party at school just for the grandparents!

After three weeks he seems ready to follow the teacher and sing in Dutch.
He just said that now he is used to go to school!
